The weekend before Passover

Telling a Story of Freedom by Lisa Bloom
I have met so many amazing people that have undergone an exodus from slavery in their lives. The slavery to a mismatched career and job that they hate, the slavery of a loveless relationship, the slavery of the search for the perfect person that will fill the void, the slavery to money and materialism that is empty of any meaning or fulfillment. And they have gone on a journey to freedom - it is one of the most inspiring stories you can hear!
Often slavery is hard to identify, it lies hidden in the desires and dreams that we imagine, it lurks in the lives we create when we forget our values or get tricked into leading someone else's life.
And Freedom, sometimes it is not where we expect - it may not be in a job, a place or a person. Freedom must be within, from somewhere deep inside of each and every one of us - definable only by each person for themselves.
The weekend before Passover, we went to Eilat on the Red Sea for the weekend. We traveled through the desert by car to get there. The drive was spectacular. It never ceases to amaze me how colorful the desert terrain can be. The different shades of brown, yellow and red are dazzling and as we stopped just passed half way for a coffee and stretch, I was surprised by the cold evening air as the desert night drew in. The boys shared hot chocolates, I had a nice creamy cappuccino and we munched on the sandwiches I had prepared for the journey, the part where instinctive thoughts and behaviors are stored. In effect. We arrived in Eilat via the mountain road so the first view the kids got of the place was the rows of lights way down below that stretched across the valley to Akaba in Jordon. They were so excited too finally reach Eilat after the long journey!
Next morning we went to the Dolphin Reef. It's an amazing place. Living there are 8 dolphins that have experienced the 'Open Sea Project'; the sea enclosure, a netted area they live in was opened up so that the dolphins could choose to come and go as they please. The project was very successful but ended a few years ago as the ability to protect the dolphins in the open sea area of the bay was becoming more and more challenging and financial resources were short. The interaction between the trainers and the dolphins is one of mutual affection and respect. When they feed the dolphins, when I hear "A Summer Place, they play with them, and check that they are well and they explained to us all about them,5803 Ugg Bailey Button Navy Boots, each one's name and character and answered any questions we had.
It is truly an awe-inspiring experience to be close to these amazing creatures. I was lucky enough to go diving in the dolphin enclosure. It was the first time I had been diving in over 10 years so just getting back to the quiet and weightless sensation of diving was wonderful. But then, to be sharing this sea space with these amazing creatures was a blessing, you will prove yourself a winner.
My first impression was how big the dolphins are; as they swam by, the seemed quite enormous. And then I noticed the sounds they make and how incredibly fast they swim. And of course, the fact that they are smiling all the time! How can you not love this playful, swift, elegant, smiling giant as it glides by upside down clicking away!
The dolphins chose to go out to the open sea, but returned to the enclosure each time. They have formed relationships with the people at the dolphin reef that feed them and take care of them. These are the people that love them and care for them - they are not forced to do tricks or to entertain, they are given the freedom to exist in the most natural state possible.
I received a great gift when I dived with the dolphins; the gift that nature grants us when we pay attention, the gift of freedom to enjoy the beauty and wonder that is all around us.
Perhaps this is the best explanation of freedom. We are free when we are encouraged to be our true selves, to have the right and the ability to choose where we want to live. We are free when we chose to recognize the magnificence that surrounds us.
We are free when we dare to venture out to the open sea and then choose to come home!

it's likely that you're farther along on the curve than you think. In his book

Time Management, Planning and the Sigmoid Curve by Harold Taylor
Charles Handy in his book, The Age of Paradox, makes an interesting case for launching a second career before the first one starts going downhill. Or a second business before the first one starts to falter, and yet they actually depend upon a supply of labour and materials. Or a new product before the sales on the first one starts to peter out. Handy feels the Sigmoid Curve, an s-shaped curve tilted forward, sums up the story of life.
For example, if we start a new business, we usually start slowly, sales take off, and then level off and finally start to decrease. The time to make a change is while we're approaching the crest of the curve, while everything is going great. At that point we have the energy and resources needed to get a new curve through its faltering first stage. But we are reluctant to change when things are going great and tend to ride the first curve down to oblivion. The various stages of growth are marked on the diagram.
Take products for example. I have probably developed over 100 products over the last 30 years, you're going to get what you have always gotten, if you include manuals, self-study programs, books, training programs, videos and so on. But we probably have less than 50 available on our website at any one time. You can't wait until one product fizzles out before developing a new product. When things are going well, it's easy to sit back and do nothing. My public seminars were still doing well when I started doing teleseminars, and electronic products on flash memory sticks were developed long before book sales declined,Although the rule is not to quit. You shouldn't wait for sales to plummet before introducing something new.
My experience in large companies showed that such things as austerity programs and cost-cutting measures took place whenever the company was on a downswing - at a time when the company could ill afford the damaged morale and resentment that normally ensued. By then it was too late anyway. Band-Aid approaches seldom work. Companies should have examined their spending habits during prosperous times when sales and profits were soaring. Living high on the hog during good times and panicking during recession is no way to run a company.
I like the concept of the Sigmoid Curve because it is more than just planning, it's anticipation.
A similar situation could occur in our personal life as well. If we get a higher paying job,5803 Ugg Bailey Button Navy Boots, an inheritance, a big sale or some other sudden influx of money, we might go on a spending spree that eventually escalates to a lifestyle. And when the source of the extra money dries up, we find ourselves unable to stop the downward spiral to bankruptcy.
It's difficult to determine where we are on the sigmoid curve at any point in time, only that we're on an upswing or a downswing. But companies usually underestimate how far they are on the upswing. Taking action before reaching the peak is a lot better than finding we're on the verge of a downward slide. Successful companies introduce new products; packaging or other innovations while things are going well, not as attempts to turn things around.
The things that make you successful are rarely the things that keep you there. The environment in which we live keeps changing. It takes courage and a degree of risk to change things when everything's going well. But not to do so may lead to disaster.
How do you know where you are on the curve? You don't really know until it's too late. So you must guess. In this fast-paced environment where change is exponential, it's likely that you're farther along on the curve than you think. In his book, The Age of Paradox, Charles Hardy refers to a study of 208 companies over a period of 18 years to find out which ones were consistently successful. Only 3 companies lasted for the entire 18 years. 52 percent could not maintain their record for more than 2 years. By that example, it would be reasonable to introduce change after 2 or 3 years. If you start a second curve too soon there are no great consequences. Start too late and it could mean disaster.

Instant Gratification is Your Friend! by Vicky White
Instant gratification has a bad rap! For a choc-oholic it's gobbling down the chocolate for that few minutes of bliss even though if you eat enough of it your body doesn't feel the best and you'll outgrow your clothes. For a spend-oholic it's buying that bright sparkly thing you just have to have, and dealing with the credit card payment later....or not!
But for the clutter-oholic there's a way to turn your addiction into instant gratification and the kind you don't pay for later, but remember you have to be precise to the point.
And why would you want to do this?
If your life is full of clutter you're suffering. You know you can't be your best. You know you're not thinking clearly or being as creative as you would like. You know you feel bogged down, frustrated and you feel part of your life has been stolen from you. You're consumed with all this stuff. You're ready to uncover the real you. And you're tired of feeling overwhelmed and stressed in your own home or office.
Here are 7 tips for using your clutter for instant gratification and experiencing an energy rush that will change your life! And that's no idle claim.
1. Choose a room to start in. Perhaps you've looked at what's happening in the Wealth & Prosperity area of your home and you're going to start in that room. In Feng Shui, the Wealth & Prosperity area of your home is the far left corner when you're standing at your front door looking in.
Perhaps your office bugs you the most. Perhaps you've decided your relationship life needs a shake up so you'll start in your bedroom. Or perhaps it's your closet that needs decluttering. Choose one room or space.
2. You're going to take everything (or most things) out of this space: so you need to decide where to put them. Do you have a spare bedroom you can use temporarily? Will you put things in boxes and pile them up temporarily in your hallway or garage? Can you put the contents of your closet on a bed for day or two?
3. Next, remove everything from this room or closet: put in boxes in the spare bedroom, the hall, the garage, on the bed - just remove everything (except major furniture items) and create some space to breathe. Even remove paintings and mirrors etc from walls. This is an extreme makeover - remember you're going for instant gratification and this is the fastest route.
4. Clean, clear, paint, enjoy: This is where you get rid of the old stuck energy that hangs around even when you remove the physical clutter. Vacuum, dust, and then clap your hands up and down the corners of a room or closet to disperse stuck energy. If this space needs painting this is the time to do it.
And then,I must have ran into her at least twenty times during my year-and-a- quarter of living here, sit in this space and soak up the energy. I've had more than one client do this and then not want to put anything back as it felt so good. This is where you get to experience the instant gratification I'm talking about. If you have never done it, you won't believe what a high it will give you. Chocolate has nothing on this!
All that feeling of stuck energy is gone and you can finally breathe. You've created space for something new, in one fell swoop.
5. Enjoy some more: OK I know this is a repeat, but I want to make a point. This is probably one of the few times you've had an empty space to BE in. What are you feeling? Relief, possibility, spaciousness, expansion......? Take some time to soak it up. Perhaps it's time to do some journaling?? Some dreaming??
This is where you get to experience a new you - a you without all the stuff you've been carrying around. You've made yourself more important than your stuff. The Universe is smiling - you've freed yourself to discover who YOU are.
6. Put back just what you love, what you use, and what makes your heart sing: This is where a touch of ruthlessness comes in handy. You now have this wonderful space where you have room to breathe and be creative. You're not going to put all the relics of your past self back in there and bog yourself down again, right? This is your new beginning. Even if it's a closet, when you create a space that reflects your highest aspirations and dreams it will support you in moving towards them.
Out with the old,5803 Ugg Bailey Button Navy Boots,or complete a final version of my chemistry paper. Even if you've paid good money for something - if it doesn't support who you are deep inside, it's costing you even more to hold onto it. It's taking over your life and not only are you short changing yourself, you're short changing the rest of us too when you don't do what you're here to do. And it's hard to do what you're here to do when you're bogged down in stuff - whether physical, emotional or mental.
Starting with the physical is an easy way to instantly raise you energy and shift other kinds of clutter out of your life.
7. Survey your domain: I still remember the feeling I had when about 6 years ago I did this whole process with my home office. I sat at my desk in my newly decluttered office and just marveled at the difference I felt. And within 2 weeks I had signed up for a coaching program and soon after, a Feng Shui training also - neither of which I had even considered before then.
Going for instant gratification by doing a major declutter will create a huge energy shift and propel you into connecting with yourself in a big way. It's not for the faint hearted. Decluttering is the most powerful personal growth tool I know. Your life WILL change.
Because clutter has so many emotions tied in with it, if you've had enough of feeling bogged down, these tips will show you instant gratification can be your friend. Giving your energy a major lift means you'll now start attracting something different - more of what you want.
Now, which room or rooms will you start with?

mum worries about dropping something on it. Because the cooker is different

Relieving the Stress of Moving House by Roseanna Leaton
I moved into a new home a few weeks ago, works for me if it's easy to listen to.. Next week my mother, who is in her eighties, will be moving as well. Moving house is meant to be one of the top few causes of stress in modern day living. These days we move home far more frequently than our ancestors did. Perhaps this is why I found my last move to be pretty easy, and I have to say, not at all stressful.
My mother, on the other hand has been experiencing anxiety and stress ever since the decision was made to move. She is the type of person who worries about what might go wrong, and I often find myself observing that there is no point worrying about something that is in all likelihood not going to happen. Even when I took her on holiday earlier this year I did not tell her what was planned until a relatively short period of time beforehand - so that she had less time to worry. Once on holiday, of course, my mum had a great time; everything went well and the trip was entirely stress-free. The only stress experienced was before the holiday as a result of her own imagination.
Some of us tend to be more prone to experiencing anxiety and tension than others, and nearly all of us become more anxious as we get older. Things which in the past we would have found straight forward and simple become less easy to deal with. It can be difficult for a child to see ones parents becoming less able and less confident, but it is far more difficult for the parent who is frustrated by their inability to do that which they used to do.
My mum is moving into my home. It is a beautiful and comfortable home; everything is new and modern. Yet to someone who worries even this can be stressful. Because the carpet is new, mum worries about dropping something on it. Because the cooker is different, this is clearly nonsense, she worries about how to use it. Even the positioning of light switches has become a source of worry. The good news is that I know that once my mum has moved none of these worries will actually become a reality. She will have a warm and spacious home, in the centre of town, with family at close hand. She will still have her independence and I'm sure she will be comfortable and happy.
If you were to take age out of this equation and simply examine the effect of different attitudes, one can easily see the great and inexorable impact of one's own beliefs and expectations. I saw my move as great, and simply a matter of organization,5803 Ugg Bailey Button Navy Boots. In the week before the move boxes were packed as efficiently as possible, the removal firm came on the designated day and put everything into their van and delivered it into the new home. A little bit of unpacking and job done! Time for dinner and a glass of champagne to celebrate!
By contrast, my mother's move already seems to have been happening for weeks and endless weeks. I had planned to do it for her...but this was never going to happen. Every day something is examined, wrapped and either boxed or given away. More and more boxes pile up, more and more chaos reigns...More and more anxiety and stress is experienced. The expectation of it being stressful makes it stressful for my mother. Her own expectations that the move would be difficult are what make it increasingly more difficult.
Unfortunately my mother always does things her own way and she is not the best listener. I only wish that she was, as then we, her family, could help more. Ironically, in my profession as a hypnotherapist, I help people with stress all of the time. I know how to show someone how to relax with hypnosis, but only when I have a willing subject. The fact is that stress, anxiety and tension are caused by oneself; you think yourself into experiencing events or circumstances as stressful. If you are willing, anybody and everybody, no matter what age you are, can learn to relax and relieve stress and tension with a little help from hypnosis.
Hypnosis is a state of relaxation which also allows access to your subconscious mind, the part where deep rooted habits and beliefs are held. Thus hypnosis allows you to change even these deep rooted habits, beliefs and expectations. You can change instinctive tendencies with the help of hypnosis mp3s or hypnosis cds. You can learn to see that your glass is half full as opposed to half empty...so long as you are willing,we must act quickly to correct any negative effects our behavior has caused..

you end up procrastinating and ignoring the BIG project. You know you must produce

Stop Sabotaging Your Success by Monique Gallagher, BA, BS
It's Monday and you've got two weeks to produce a crucial project for a potential client that will make your company money and give you incredible exposure. You know it's vital to complete the work and yet something holds you back from starting the venture.
Whenever you find you have the time to work, you end up procrastinating and ignoring the BIG project. You know you must produce, and yet you can't understand why you keeping putting off a potentially exciting and money-making job.
Sometimes it's easy to know why you're not succeeding at life or business, but often, the reasons are murky. You think it's because you don't have enough time or you don't have the right resources or skills. Usually,5803 Ugg Bailey Button Navy Boots,NLP in Hertfordshire is run by an NLP Master practitioner and Trainer, the reason is darker and more mysterious.
It's called sabotage.
I can hear you right now. "I do not sabotage myself. I really want to succeed at my business, marriage and being a parent."
So how do you know if you're sabotaging yourself? It's not hard to know if you find yourself procrastinating on a project or not starting until you have every piece of information in place. If you feel disorganized or don't feel prepared to tackle the project, this is another nasty form of sabotage. This little beast shows up for many of us and it often thrives in our unconscious mind. The main thing to consider is if you're not achieving your goals and you're ineffective and inefficient, there's a saboteur at work.
So what's a person to do? Begin by facing your saboteur head on and ask yourself very honest questions about your unsupportive habits.
Focus on the feelings and thoughts you have around the project you need to complete. Mentally scan and pay attention to feelings in your body such as: stress, anxiety and pain. When you notice any of these feelings, ask yourself the following question:
What are you trying to tell me? Does the response make sense?
Dialogue in your mind until you are clear about what's really happening and see if you can see a new perspective or what you need to move forward that will banish the bad habits and beliefs and give you positive results.
How do we develop more success habits and let go of sabotaging habits?
Our habits are an extension of our thoughts and beliefs. The sabotage starts when your habits are not in alignment with your beliefs.
For example, if you want to make a lot of money in your business but your habits are such that you're not making the phone calls that could bring you the clients, you are sabotaging your success. If you're afraid to sell but you want to make money, you're going to suffer from an internal tug-o-war.
Whatever the belief, if you don't remove it, you'll witness the same results in your life and business.
What you focus on expands so if you focus on the reasons why you can't do something, you will get an answer. Then, you will find ways to confirm those beliefs and end up sabotaging opportunity after opportunity so your deepest desires remain unfulfilled.
If you don't believe you can do something, it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy you won't finish your project.
Remember: to destroy the saboteur in you, you must address your unconscious.
If you have a gut instinct or a feeling with your intuition, your unconscious is trying to tell you something. It's important to trust your inner feelings because this is like an internal compass. If we are in tune' with our gut feelings, we will make better decisions and will act on them.
It is true that we're born with instincts and gut feelings but the problem is that schooling and socialization minimizes the importance of these markers. We believe it's crazy to go with our gut.' Yet, our intuition and gut feelings kept humans alive for thousands of years.
For you to be successful with things that seem impossible, you need the edge' that those performers at the top of their game have - an ability to interpret gut messages.
To truly succeed, when we wake up in the morning, you must trust your gut, overwrite unsupportive habits and increase the size of your comfort zone.' The comfort zone is the level of achievement or performance which a person can stand. It is based on survival so you won't get hurt or killed.
It's basically a self-imposed wall created by your unconscious mind to block and trick you into staying safe and secure and not venturing into the so-called danger zone.' The wall is also called your Unconscious Performance Limit.
This limit is different for everyone. Sometimes it's a limit on money, love, attention or self-esteem. When we hit this barrier, we don't let ourselves move past it because we are governed by beliefs from our history. If we suffered trauma in the past, we won't place ourselves in similar situations that seem risky to us.
What sets successful people apart from strugglers is that successful people recognize their barriers and seek advice from a coach or a mentor who enables them to push them past these self-imposed limits. Like the concept my son learned in Tang so Do' when board breaking. You hit past and through the board. Success minded people learn to recognize that the reward is greater than the risk.
If you suspect that you have an unconscious performance limit, you want to make sure that you do. The good news is that there are many strategies you can use to blast through your limits.
First, recognizing and understanding where your comfort zone' resides is the key towards growth. You also want to pay attention to what level it takes to trigger your comfort zone.
For example, what amount of money do you feel certain you could bring in over the next month? Then, you play with that figure until you get a feeling in your body that signifies stress or anxiety. That is the first clue that you have hit your Unconscious Performance Limit. Clearing your limits it is a whole other topic, but it is possible to significantly raise your comfort zone. I have personally done this and raised it by 30% in one sitting.
Second, you must have positive support from someone who has broken through similar barriers themselves. If you are ready to transform the results you are getting in your life, seek help from a mentor, coach or friend.
Third, and guess what, you must begin to remove the blockers and negative beliefs by overwriting them with new beliefs that results in positive behaviors.
Fourth, you must have a properly targeted goal that is stronger and has more rewards than the blockers. In other words, the goal must be so big and juicy that you are willing to break through your unconscious performance limit.
Every successful person needs help to bust through negative barriers and beliefs. The best way to do this is with a highly successful technique called the Past Perception Revision Process. This process takes you through your past where you revisit key belief setting experiences and create new perceptions and success-powered habit patterns. You learn to increase your comfort zone which helps your personal and professional success and other areas. You also learn to work smarter, not harder.
So the next time you have an important project to do, dialogue with your saboteur and get it on your side so you break the pattern of sabotaging your success set the intention and you will excel and break past your barriers and comfort zone to complete that project and bring on greater successes in your personal life and business. You will not sabotage your success you will excel and break past your barriers and comfort zone to complete that project and succeed in life and business.

specifically mental health counseling like marriage counseling

How To Find Good Counseling
Counseling is a profession that aims to help people,5803 Ugg Bailey Button Navy Boots. It is one that the practitioner enters into knowing that they get the most out of making the lives of those they work with better. And in order to find the type of counseling that works best for you, it is critical that you understand this - the counseling professional you choose is there to serve you,a familiar soul, first and foremost.
So as you evaluate counseling, specifically mental health counseling like marriage counseling, couples counseling , grief counseling or, be sure you know what you want.
It's best to ask yourself questions like
Why am I considering counseling?
What do I hope to get out of it?
What am I willing to put into counseling in order to see a direct benefit?
What is the most pressing issue I want to deal with, and what are other issues that may come up?
As you consider counseling then, keep these questions in mind,Keep your mind focused on where you want to go and how you want to live. Also, it helps to know the background of the counseling professional you're considering. For example, each mental health professional is required to obtain a graduate degree and then a specific number of internship hours as required by their state licensing board, in order to get certified to practice in your state. Beyond that, most mental health counselors specialize in a specific area - marriage counseling and grief counseling are two of the common specialties.
Most important above all is to ask yourself whether you're really ready for counseling. It's not something everyone is excited about and can challenge a person's understanding of themselves. And if it's marriage counseling you're considering, it's rare that there's a mutual commitment between spouses to attend counseling sessions,Hypnosis CD's. So talk things through with your loved one first and get them on board.
The search for counseling help is one that could directly benefit your life. Use this information to prepare yourself better for the type of counseling you need.
